HP unveiled products at “The Office Of The Future” event. While we didn’t get much hands-on time with any of them, here are some of our favourites from the presentation, which should all be available at retail next month.

HP ELITEBOOK X360 1030 G2

A convertible, touch-screen laptop with a 360degree foldable screen, this laptop won the “Best PC of CES 2017” award. Designed mainly for work, the laptop boasts an impressive 16-hour battery life, which can be recharged to full within an hour, as well as advanced Bang & Olufsen speakers and noise cancellation technology, making it ideal for the mobile lifestyle of the new generation. It also comes with HP’s award-winning security suite, including Sure View, Sure Click, as well as the usual host of biometric sensors found in many laptops today.

HP ELITE X3

Despite its outward appearance, HP is careful not to label the Elite X3 a smartphone, instead calling it a “3-in-1” mobile device, bringing with it the best features of a smartphone, tablet and laptop computer. In other words, the Elite X3 has all the versatile features of a smartphone or tablet, while also possessing enough computing power to act as a “virtual desktop experience” with HP Workspace technology. Simply plug it into a desk dock and a monitor, and the “phone” will act as the CPU of a computer. Users can even get a Lap Dock device, which connects with the Elite X3 wirelessly, turning it into a portable laptop equivalent, as well.

HP ELITE SLICE

Available in squared, disk-shaped pieces, the Elite Slice is a sleek, portable desktop CPU with modular add-ons. Each “disk” in a stack offers a different functionality, from a onetouch hub for conference calls to a wireless charging station. Simply stack the disks on top of each other, and the device seamlessly adds the new functionality to its repertoire of tricks. On the other hand, the different pieces also allow for easy transportation, as you can just carry the pieces you need with you when travelling. HP representatives also said it was completely moddable, which means you can upgrade its RAM or maybe even its graphics card for more intensive purposes.
