The hotel industry needs to assess if it’s ready to welcome more tourists with improved quality and a unique experience with the added products and services in comparison with partners in the region.

Hotel Show Colombo 2024 Chairman Trevine Gomez said that while the hotel industry has gone through tough times, however, they need to be ready to provide travellers with an improved experience by selling the product with high quality.

It is in this respect that the Hotel Show is important since most hoteliers were complaining last winter with the increased arrivals but today they are readying to gear themselves up for the upcoming winter.

The Sri Lanka hotel industry will be hosting its Hotel Show Colombo 2024 in a bid to elevate the standards of the industry through the adaptation of hospitality related innovations that will look at boosting the image of hotels.

The Hotel Show will be held from July 26-28 and is organised by the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association in collaboration with CDC Events together with the support of both state and private sectors.

Visitors from Sri Lanka, Maldives, India and other South Asian countries will be participating at the event that will showcase the latest innovations, advancements and cost effective solutions within the industry.

Complementing the main exhibition are a series of concurrent events, including the National Baritsa Championship, National Room Stylist Challenge, National Tea Masters Cup Sri Lanka, Bar Champs – bartenders competition, and a lineup of industry focused Masterclasses. These events are designed to celebrate excellence within the industry while providing a platform for professionals to showcase their skills and expertise.
