ANC Fresher’s Day Out Fall 2019
ANC Fresher’s day out was a fun and exciting experience for more than 60 new students who are starting their higher education journey at ANC.
The fresher’s who joined the U.S and Canada Transfer programme and Business and Psychology Degree Completion programmes for the FALL 2019 intakes were warmly greeted into the ANC student body with much support and encouragement for a successful university life.
Students who joined after O/Levels & A/ Levels from national and international schools, included Lyceum International, Royal Institute, Musaeus College, Gateway International School, Ladies College, Bishops College, Wycherley International and St. Thomas College and many others, who took the higher education and career decision to change the course of their life for a better future.
The fresher’s batch of FALL 2019 set out early morning Friday on a fun bus ride to Club Waskaduwa hotel, jamming to their favorite songs throughout the drive till they got to the lovely beach side destination of Club Waskaduwa hotel where they were welcomed by the ANC team. The fresher’s enjoyed the fabulous ambiance, splendid hospitality, delicious meals and relaxing on the beach, swimming in the pool were some of the best parts of the day.
“It was really fun and very interactive with even the staff and new students all participating in all the games like beach volleyball, pool games, beach rugby and other fun activities, I enjoyed it very much’ says Ayshath Shaneeza Farooz from Asian International School who joined the Canada University transfer Programme.
ANC ensures that every new student feels welcomed and enjoys a smooth transition into university life after O/L & A/L through a supportive environment that encourages peer interaction and instills good values and camaraderie. The Fresher’s day out was a wonderful experience where we got to socialize, make new friends and get to know many new students says Akindu Galappatthy, from Gateway International School that joined the U.S University Transfer Programme, “We laughed and joked and made some unforgettable memories”.
