SLANSHEI congratulates the New President

Sri Lanka Association for Non State Higher Education Institutions (SLANSHEI) issuing a statement, congratulates the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, on his appointment as the 7th Executive President of Sri Lanka.

“We take this opportunity to congratulate His Excellency on his appointment as the President of The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and your desire and drive to promote higher education opportunities for all youth in this country.”

The seven founder members of the Association are Aquinas College of Higher Studies, Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, CINEC Campus, Horizon Campus, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine. Apart from these founder members Gateway Graduate School, KAATSU Institute for Undergraduate Studies, Saegis Campus, Sanasa Campus, and International Institute of Health Sciences currently act as its member institutes.

“SLANSHEI, as the representative body of recognized Non- State Higher education institutions in Sri Lanka, sincerely hopes that His Excellency will drive and direct the development of the Non- State higher education sector education opportunities created for the betterment of our youth in the country. We are convinced that the Nonstate sector will be able to support and facilitate the vision and mission encapsulated in His Excellency’s manifesto of providing Higher Education opportunities for all.”
