Cinematic comedy on a patriotic mission

Bollywood comedy movie ‘Pagal Panti’ (Madness) narrating about a group of Indians come across a series of hilarious incidents, is now being screened at several theatres in and around Colombo.

Starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Urvashi Rautela, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, and Saurabh Shukla, the film is directed by Anees Bazmee.

The comedy revolves around three men, considered as losers in their lives by the people, plan to get rich along with their girlfriend­s by fooling two gangsters and robbing their money. Film the group from India sets out on a vacation to only have their trip to turn into a patriotic mission.

With the success of first two Commando series, Hindi action thriller ‘Commando 3’ directed by Aditya Datt will be screened here simultaneo­us to the worldwide release.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah who made the two earlier franchises, the movie stars Vidyut Jammwal, Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar and Gulshan Devaiah in main roles.

The Hindi film with English subtitles is now being screened a number of cineas including Majestic Colombo, Colombo City Centre and Liberty Scope.

A mysterious man is on an impending mission to attack the country from his base in London. Karan Singh Dogra sets out to hunt down the antagonist aided by the British Intelligen­ce. Will Commando be able to prevent the attack and save the country?

‘Commando 3’ is a sequel to the 2017 film Commando 2: The Black Money Trail and its filming began in late September 2018 in York, England.
