Pan Asia Bank sponsors National Chamber and NEDA for “Western Province Entrepreneurship Awards”
Pan Asia Bank, one of Sri Lanka’s fastest growing commercial banks joined hands with the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and National Enterprise Development Authority to sponsor “Western Province Entrepreneurship Awards ceremony 2019” which was concluded in a grand scale at Sri Lanka Foundation premises on 30 October 2019. The Chairman of NEDA Dr. Siraz Meerasahib graced the occasion as the Chief Guest among other dignitaries.
The Awards Competition was designed for Micro, Small, Medium and Large sector entrepreneurs in the fields of Industry/Manufacturing Sector, Agriculture/ Livestock/Fisheries Sector and Hospitality/Tourism & other services sector. Awards were presented for categories such as Best Environmental Friendly Enterprise, Best Exporter, Best Productive Enterprise, Best Innovative Enterprise, Best Value Added Enterprise, Best Energy Efficiency Enterprise, Award for the Entrepreneur - Who has Provided Most Number of Jobs for Females, Award for the Best Woman Entrepreneur and Award for the Best Entrepreneur – Differently abled.
The coveted “The Best Entrepreneur of the year 2019 – Western Province” award which recognises the most outstanding enterprise in the province in 2019 was awarded to Wijaya Products (Pvt) Ltd.
The Pan Asia Bank extended its fullest cooperation for the event being the Exclusive Banking Sponsor of “Entrepreneur Awards 2019 – Western Province”
The event was graced by a large gathering of SME and large sector Entrepreneurs together with Government officials, top corporates representatives.
