Simply Red to release latest album ‘Big Love’

Simply Red will release the band’s first new album ‘Big Love’ in eight years on 1st June. The band founder and leader Mick Hucknall has written all 12 album tracks produced by Andy Wright. ee You Again’ has emerged as the fastest selling single of 2015. The track by rap star Wiz Kharlifa and featuring Charlie Puth clocked a staggering 193,000 from combined sales. The song is taken from the soundtrack of the film Fast & Furious 7 . ‘See You Again’ jumped from 22 to land at the No: 1 in the second week of its chart life. For Wiz Khalifa ‘See You Again’ is first No:1 for Wiz as a frontline artist. Previously he was the support artist for Maroon 5’s ‘Payphone’ No: 1 in the UK back in 2012. As the bootleg release grew in popularity in the UK, ‘Cheerleade­r’ was rushed released from May to April and now has a good chance of a battle for the UK top spot next week. ap star Drake has indicated he has collaborat­ed with Beyonce on two tracks to his next album ‘ Views From The 6’. It appears Beyonce is returning Drake a favour following his appearance on her 2013 album.

Multi talented actor and singer Jamie Foxx is to release a new album titled ‘Hollywood’ on May 18. It will be a follow up to his 2010 album ‘Best Night Of My Life’. Foxx meanwhile performed his new single ‘ You Changed Me’ with Chris Brown on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on 16th April. ith Zayn Malik on his own, members of the One Direction are weighting in on future options. One member Louis Tomlinson has started his own record label which will be an imprint of Simon Cowell’s SyCo label. While Tomlinson is said to be scouting for talent for his new venture, he is reported have signed on a former X-Factor contestant Jack Walton.
