International trade is the back- bone of our modern, commercial world, as producers in various nations try to profit from a world market place, rather than be limited to selling within their own borders. There are many reasons that trade across national borders occurs, including lower production costs in one region versus another, specialized industries, lack or surplus of natural resources and consumer tastes.
While English law remains of enormous commercial importance, considerable steps have been taken over the last two decades, at an international level, towards the harmonization of international trade law. Thus, the event would consist certain traditional yet vital topics, such as International Sales Law, Payments and Finance in International Trade, International Carriage Law, Inter national Commercial Arbitration, and International Competition Law.
The seminar is designed to give students interested in careers in international trade or in trade-related government departments a firm introduction to both the law and practice in this challenging and complex area. The skills and knowledge offered are particularly useful if you want to work in law, importexport, insurance, investment, shipping and freight, commodities, or intellectual property. It would also appeal to those who intend to pursue careers in international and national trade, and marketing bodies, as well as in government and academic posts.
It is ideally suited for students from a law, business, management, politics or other social science background, providing an opportunity to explore this dynamic area of law. If you want to participate in this invaluable seminar you can call 0777 490 390 and reserve your seats today.
