WHAT'S COOKING
SUNDAY
These words are by Pope Francis. "Rivers do not drink their own water ; Trees do not eat their own fruit ; the sun does not shine on its own self; and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is ....... Life is good when you are happy, but much better when others are happy because of you."

Excess bananas can be used in many preparations like smoothies, fritters, pancakes , banana bread and can be frozen to be used on a later date.

It was first called English Soup. In later years, with the substitution of Mascaporne Cheese for the original custard, it has come to be called Tiramisu.
