Thiloka guide President’s to victory

A fine knock of 90 by Thiloka Himsara helped President’s College, Maharagama record an innings and five-run win over Methodist High School, Moratuwa in their Under19 Inter-schools Cricket Tournament encounter which concluded at Maharagama yesterday.

Meanwhile, the match between Kuliyapiti­ya Central and Seethawaka Central Avissawell­a ended in a close first innings win for Kuliyapiti­ya Central.

At Maharagama (President’s College won by innings and five runs)

Methodist High School: 149 and 166 (Rasantha Madusanka 59, Kaveen Anjana 22, Seneth Roshen 22, Sandun Tharanga 20, Chandeepa Kumarasing­he 4/36, Tharindu Dhananjaya 3/51, Pasindu Lochana 2/41)
