Aptly named ‘The Bridge’, a spin on the aspect of connectivity, it will monitor the live operations of capital markets operators and stock exchanges around the world.

The new facility will be operated by the Millenniumit Liveops team, who provide a range of real time monitoring, application support, and platform support services for Millenniumit products deployed by stock exchanges around the world, 24x7, from this centralised location. The Bridge will provide a best of breed operating environment for the Millenniumit Liveops team to offer a fully managed service for capital markets customers. A host of service offerings will be available to all Millenniumit customers.

Millenniumit Liveops’s capability to offer live operational and platform support services across Millenniumit applications will be further boosted with the LSEG Shared Service Center, Business Services Limited (BSL) setting up operations in Sri Lanka. BSL will consist of multiple specialization towers in supporting Infrastructure as well as other LSEG Applications. The Infrastructure support will be further sub-divided in to specialization areas of operating systems, databases, networks, storage, and service desk management to ensure coverage of subject matter expertise across all areas. Together, BSL and Liveops will provide services to support low latency, high availability technology infrastructure for capital markets and will position the group strategically to broaden the offering of live operational services to clients worldwide.

Mack Gill, CEO, Millenniumit said, “Millenniumit’s new Liveops infrastructure is a showcase of our commitment to offer our customers not just world class capital market software to power their exchanges, but to demonstrate that we are capable of providing them with a fully managed service on a 24x7 basis.

“With “The Bridge” in place, we are able to widen our service offering to both our existing and potential customers. Essentially, we will be managing the technology operations that underpin some of the world’s largest stock exchanges from our base in Sri Lanka. As a leader in innovative trading technology, it’s imperative that we continue to play a leading role to ensure the best possible service is delivered to our many clients around the world”.
