-

Cantaloupe Levels was recognized by the World Luxury Hotel Awards with the prestigious title of ‘Best Luxury New Hotel’ in the Indian subcontinent, at the awards ceremony held at the Harbour Grand Hotel in Hong Kong recently.

The awards aims to provide luxury hotels with recognition for their world-class facilities and service excellence by encouraging and raising the service standards within the luxury hotel industry.

Voting at the awards takes on a unique approach with hotels being required to conduct voting campaigns to promote their participation amongst guests. The judging criteria is based upon facilties and the service excellence rendered by the hotels.

“We are delighted to note that Cantaloupe Levels has been awarded this prestigious title,” said Dmitri Jayasuriya Managing Director at Cantaloupe & CO. “The award is a testament to the fact that Cantaloupe Levels prides itself for the unparalled service and standards of the hotel which reflect the epitome of luxury living.”

Cantaloupe Hotels also bagged a Gold Award for the website category at the 10th Annual W³ Awards.

The W³ is the first major international web competition to be accessible from the biggest agencies to the smallest firms. The awards honors outstanding Websites, Web Marketing, Web Video, Mobile Sites/apps & Social content created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide.

“We are proud to have won gold at the W3. Our team at Cantaloupe has worked hard to portray and reflect the brand through this website. It took months of planning before we could piece together a site with content and photos contributed by travelers,” said Nadeem Rajabdeen, Director Sales and Marketing at Cantaloupe & Co. “To have that work recognized by the AIVA and brands such as Ralph Lauren which has always inspired us from the inception is immensely gratifying.”

Cantaloupe bagged the Gold Award in the category of ‘Websites for Hotels and Lodging’ at the 10th International W3 awards which had received over 4800 submissions this year alone including many from Fortune 500 companies.

Describing the site, Nadeem added that Cantaloupe had chosen to work with emarketing Eye to create and conceptualize the site. “They crafted a plan which not only covered the aesthetics but end results and target markets. During our first meetings I mentioned that we wished to win an award and I’m glad the hard work paid off.”
