Muslims learnt their politics from Tamils: Ameer Ali

- BY VADIVEL SAKTHIVEL

I blame certain people in the Paddiruppu electorate who did not conduct themselves in an orderly manner during the last elections. Accordingly, I will allocate a sum of Rs. nine million to the Kaluvanchikudy bus terminal and also liaise with the eminent persons in the area and implement many more development projects

The Muslims had learned their politics from the Tamil polity. Sadly, the lands occupied by the Tamils were backward in development. The Muslims always join the winning side in an election and get their needs fulfilled. But unfortunately this attitude is lacking in Tamils, Deputy Minister of Rural Economic Development M.S.S Amir Ali said at a welcoming ceremony held to receive him in Kaluvanchikudy on Sunday.

He said that all the Muslim Public Associations collectively extended their support to those who wielded power and got their needs fulfilled, but the Tamils failed to do so.

“I blame certain people in the Paddiruppu electorate who did not conduct themselves in an orderly manner during the last parliamentary elections. Although none had been elected to the Parliament from this electorate I will continue to implement large development projects in that area,”Deputy Minister of Economic Development M.S.S Amir Ali said.

He said, “Accordingly, I will allocate a sum of Rs. nine million to the Kaluvanchikudy bus terminal and also liaise with the eminent persons in the area and implement many more development projects.” “I will extend my fullest cooperation to upgrade the Manmunai Thenneruvilpattu Pradheshiya Sabha to an Urban Council,” the Deputy Minister said.
