Etihad hosts Int’l Air Law Moot Court in Abu Dhabi
Etihad Airways, the national airline of t he United Arab Emirates, hosted over 60 law students from all over the world as they honed their skills at the Fourth International Air Law Moot Court Competition, held in Abu Dhabi recently.
The competition, which is administered by t he Leiden University International Institute of Air and Space Law, located in the Netherlands and the Sarin Memorial Legal Aid Foundation located in India, is a unique opportunity for students to gain experience in developing and presenting arguments in international law and international air law.
The moot court helps students to prepare briefs, examine opposing views and sharpen their debating skills in the presence of some of the most prominent judges, academia and legal experts in the world. The skills and insights gained are critical to a student’s success. The event also allows students to establish contacts around the world.

As the host airline and principal sponsor, Etihad Airways flew delegates, 35 judges and 60 law students from all over the world to Abu Dhabi.
