An organisation for promoting the interests of the Samaritans in Spain.
They undertake their work through a network of volunteers who contribute their time, skills, knowledge and/or financial support to furthering the Samaritan work in the community.
Samaritans provide a trained, supportive and non-judgemental listening ear for English speakers of any age who are experiencing emotional upset of any type or degree.
Expatriate Ostomates of Spain
The Expatriate Ostomates of Spain, an association that worked for 17 yrs to assist ostomates of many nationalities in Spain, was succeeded by the EOS Information Service. Based in Jávea, it continues to provide an independent nonprofit-making national service, by telephone and email for those who have a urostomy, colostomy or ileostomy. Information and counselling are of critical importance.

MABS Cancer Support Group (Costa Blanca North)
Volunteer drivers desperately needed to transport patients to hospital, mostly in Denia, Benidorm and Alzira for urgent life saving cancer treatment. Sometimes only 15 minutes, other times a few hours depending on treatment. Expenses are paid to drivers. Commitment can be as much or as little as you can manage.
