THE PAIN OF BEING MICHAEL JACKSON’S DAUGHTER

Paris slams new ‘pervert’ claims

BEING a teenager is hard enough – but it must be much harder when you’re the daughter of one of the most famous singers of all time. And when details emerge that paint the father you loved as a paedophile and a pervert, life must seem almost unbearable.

Yet Paris Jackson is no ordinary teen. The 18-year-old is her father’s biggest and most outspoken supporter – as she proved once again when news broke that a trove of child pornography and other disturbing material had been unearthed at Michael Jackson’s Neverland ranch.

The findings “exposed Jackson as a manipulative, drug-and-sex-craved predator who used blood, gore and sexually explicit images of animal sacrifice and perverse adult sex acts to bend children to his will”, an investigator told Radar Online, the gossip site that broke the news.

Michael’s estate reacted in outrage, saying in a statement, “Those who continue to shamelessly exploit Michael via sleazy internet ‘click bait’ ignore that he was acquitted by a jury on every one of the 14 salacious charges brought against him in a failed witch hunt.” The raid in which the material was unearthed took place in 2003 when Michael was under investigation for molesting 13-year-old cancer survivor Gavin Arvizo. The material wasn’t made public at the time.

As the story once again makes headlines, Michael’s only daughter spoke up. “Unfortunately negativity will always sell,” Paris tweeted. “I urge you all to ignore the trash and the parasites who make a career trying to slander my father. The most pure people are always torn down. It will continue to be proven that my beloved dad has always been and forever will be innocent.”

To Paris, Michael was “the best father you can imagine” and her enduring dedication to the man who was both a musical genius and a controversial eccentric is evident in the tattoos she has in his honour.

She first expressed her desire for ink in 2012 when she tweeted, “I kinda want to get August XXIX tatted on back.” The 29th of August was her dad’s birthday.

Whether that tattoo is among the eight she has now is unclear – but she did proudly post a picture of a tattoo FAR LEFT: Paris Jackson has jumped to the defence of her late father, Michael Jackson, in light of the latest scandal surrounding him. Her brothers, Blanket (BELOW LEFT) and Prince (BELOW RIGHT), have yet to comment. with the words “Queen of My Heart” in her dad’s handwriting on her wrist when she turned 18.

She and big brother Prince (19) have been bonding over body art too. The siblings both got the image of Michael’s eyes surrounded by images from his 1991 album Dangerous inked on their forearms last month.

“Never forget your roots,” she said about it, “and always be proud of where you came from.”

NEWS of the sensational Neverland discovery had just emerged when Michael’s family gathered on 25 June to commemorate the seventh anniversary of his death. In her own tribute, Paris posted a black-and-white collage of images of herself with her father on her Instagram account, captioned, “7 years, rest in peace, my best friend in the entire universe. I love you more than anything. Things may be a little sh*tty in the press right now but everyone knows it’s all bull and I swear on the family’s name I will protect you for as long as I live.”

“Paris is an amazing young woman,” a source close to the Jackson family says. “She’s had her ups and downs but she knows who she is and she won’t let
