Hi tvplus. Please tell me why actress Hanli Rolfes left her role as Anna in 7de Laan and is she coming back? – TANYA ROOS, BETHLEHEM
Hanli, who’s also an accomplish screenwriter, has left her role but she’s still part of the 7de Laan family – just as a full-time scriptwriter at production company Danie Odendaal Productions. Rosa-Mari Erasmus, the soap’s publicist, says that “Hanli is a great asset to 7de Laan as an actress and a writer. Sometimes it just gets too hard to find a balance between the two. She had to make a choice and we support her in that.” tvplus did contact Hanli directly for comments but she wasn’t willing to elaborate on her decision to leave her onscreen character. At this stage, it’s unlikely we’ll see Anna again, especially as The Hillside Times has just closed… NB! See more on p22.
