ABSA REPOSSESSED VEHICLES: CATERING TO MARKET PREFERENCES

-

Two sales will be held next week, one in Johannesburg and the other in Durban.

Park Village Auctions (PVA) is set to host two national auctions that will see more than 300 vehicles sold on behalf of Absa Bank. That’s the word from PVA’s head auctioneer Clive Lazarus, who says the sales present a favourable opportunity for dealers to restock after the holiday period.

Lazarus says that used cars are still in high demand, as the effects of the global semi-conductor shortage continue to ravage the automotive industry.

As such, genuine Absa repossessed vehicles are attractive, making relatively new, often low-mileage cars available.

What’s more, the make and models on the floor cater directly to the market’s preferences.

Both auctions will take the form of PVA’s hybrid format, starting as a timed online auction and ending as a live webcast.

The first will feature vehicles located at the Absa trade centre at 8 Top Road, Anderbolt, Gauteng. Viewing will be held today and on Monday from 9am to 3pm.

Participants can start bidding on Monday, with the live webcast commencing at 10am the following day.

Proceedings for the second auction, hosted at 20 Hunter Street, Durban, will begin with viewing from 9am to 3pm on Monday and Tuesday. Online bidding will commence on Tuesday, followed by the live webcast from 10am on Wednesday.

The Absa genuine repossessed auctions feature a cross-section of South Africa’s most-loved vehicles from entry-level hatchbacks to luxury sedans, light commercial workhorses and family SUVs.
