Complete plant up for grabs
COULD SEE HOST OF BIDDERS FROM INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS The manufacturing concern which will be auctioned off includes all equipment on site.
On Thursday next week, Park Village Auctions (PVA) will bring to market a complete extrusion plant and equipment stemming from the liquidation of Aft Optiroad, a high-density Polythene ducting manufacturing concern.
LeRoy Augustyn of PVA says the plant and equipment presents a sound investment opportunity.
“Although the plant is known for producing Telkom approved fibre optic ducting, the equipment on offer also lends itself to a wide range of applications in other sectors such as power transmission and mining.”
The equipment to be auctioned comprises an assortment of Hyundai Rexma extruders, vacuum tanks, cooling tanks; a Caterpillar haul truck, a crosshead die, a flying shear, a piggyback extruder, and winders.
Additional plant and equipment include a Duval Olmas double extruder, an Olmas corrugator, an Olmas haul-off, a cooling tank and saw. Dong Woo extruders and winders, a Shanghai Jwell extruder and two sets of Sehan extruder machinery – consisting of double extruders, extruders and winders – will also be auctioned.
Other items include an extruder water cooling and reticulation chiller unit, purpose made testers, an exotherm laboratory oven, and a chest freezer.
The plant and equipment will be sold on Thursday, April 6, onsite at number 4 Derrick Road, Spartan, Kempton Park. Commencing at 10:30am, bidders will have the opportunity to purchase assets piece meal or as an all-inclusive lot. Park Village Auctions will then accept the highest bid or combination thereof.
