Mohammed Anas is a prolific striker. He’s scoring goals in nearly every game. Anas has improved his performances since he joined Polokwane City.

Alfred Ndengane is the weakest link in the Bucs defence, just like his captain Happy Jele. They are costing Pirates big time. It’s time Micho brought Chabalala back into the team, otherwise Pirates won’t win any silverware any time soon.

Kermit Erasmus is one of the best January transfer window signings ever. He’s showing his technique and the experience he gained abroad. He can still find a place in the Bafana squad. Age is just a number for him because he is still hungry for goals.

It’s funny that Bernard Parker and Ramahlwe Mphahlele do not see things the same way regarding Chiefs’ chances of being league contenders. But I agree with the latter that Chiefs are not even dark horses.

Thamsanqa Mkhize is the player to watch this season for Cape Town City. He has taken his game to the next level. Mkhize is going to be one of the contenders for the PSL Player of the Season award.

Congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns for securing their spot in the knockout stage and I also applaud Pirates’ fighting spirit in coming back from the brink of defeat. My team Kaizer Chiefs also deserve praise for embarking on a youth policy. Coach Ernst Middendorp has been giving these youngsters a chance and now it’s up to them to make the most of that chance.

I think the PSL may as well scrap this season’s Goalkeeper of the Year award because no goalkeeper deserves it. Top goalkeepers around the country have let in silly goals due to schoolboy errors that cost their clubs vital games.

Benni McCarthy doesn’t go to drink tea at half-time, ask Gavin Hunt and Pitso Mosimane. When Cape Town City came back they meant business.
