MALUSI Gigaba, the minister of home affairs, is allegedly “on a national playboy trip”.

This is according to US-based fashionista Buhle Mkhize, who took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to reveal that she was not the only mistress that Gigaba had. “There is a lady who contacted me just now to tell me about her relationship with my minister, I mean our minister. She is afraid of talking publicly, but she has also had a confrontation with [the wife Norma Gigaba],” the caption of an SMS screengrab reads.

Mkhize goes on to say: “I was in South Africa when he wrote her this message.

I know this because she said which month and week it was. Cry for me as well. I ’ ve been betrayed. He vowed I was his only side woman. ” On the same day, Mkhize ridiculed Norma, Gigaba ’ s wife, when she shared a photo of hers next to one of homo naledi and a suggestive photo of Jacob Zuma.

Gigaba ’ s personal life has been under public scrutiny after social media spats between his wife and Mkhize, the selfconfessed mistress.

Mkhize is candid about her alleged affair with Gigaba, releasing an open letter on social media last year.

But the minister has flat-out denied the relationship.

His spokesman Mayihlome Tshwete commented yesterday: “The minister released a statement on this last year. He is not concerned with these things any more and the media should find real stories ”.

In Gigaba ’ s response to Mkhize ’ s claims last year, he said: “I did not want to address this as more pertinent issues such as building my family and serving my country are much more important. However, the source of this defamation [Mkhize] has developed an unhealthy obsession with my family. ”

Gigaba ’ s statement was deleted shortly after it was posted in December.
