Proteas’ problems over race, captaincy can’t be denied

Politics

Valiant heroine of yesteryear – Zille – now exiled to the backburner of bundooland for goose-stepping and glorifying the goodies imported by Van Riebeck and Company, whilst man-of-thismoment, main actor. Maimane smiles away like a villain, having recently embraced super-colonists and hugged committed-exponents of apartheid, in Israel! Ese.

Hooray for Helen Zille, our own Iron Lady. Yes, I agree with you… your tweet was not racist. Joe Soap.

Not true, HS! Ministers Pravin Gordhan, Cyril Ramaphosa, Makhosi Khoza and many others in the ANC government have raised their concerns about the Guptas, Zuma and their cronies. I do, however, concur with your earlier points. M.N.

Zuma and his files... Now you want to arrest him. You were prepared to die for him when you helped oust Mbeki and gave Zuma to us. Don’t forget who fed you while in the ANCYL. Look how thin you have got since the tenders dried up.

Julius Malema is the most fearless and most courageous Politician of our time. May God bless Julius Malema and our generation’s mission for economic freedom in our lifetime. ANC voters are truly foolish.

Taking emotions aside, partisan politics and party loyalty aside, Malema is so intelligent and he is a political genius. There is always sense in everything he says, only ignorant idiots will miss his points! Very patriotic.

Retired Judge Kriegler believes there is enough evidence for a competent prosecutor to successfully charge Zuma. So did the judge who sent Schabir Shaik to jail for 15 years.

President Zuma is receiving ambassador credentials in Pretoria from different nations throughout the world, and you are out here crying about state capture and him not knowing what he is doing. History will judge those black children in the DA and other political formations very harshly. President Zuma is the best president ever.

The guy speaks lots of sense. Actually he’s positioned himself in the correct political space, while the DA is caught up in infighting.

Well done, Malema. Unfortunately eNCA has just cut off the media conference. I am convinced that there’s plenty of truth in what has been presented by Malema. Well done, Jujunator.

If he is corrupt, what must we do about that. It seems like ever since Malema got fired from ANC, everyone in ANC is corrupt. What is Malema’s agenda with the ANC? I really don’t get it.

Listening to EFF press release, they seem to be holding trump cards, heads are going to roll if they are going to take action as they proclaim. Malusi-run Prasa inflated locomotive prices that resulted in SA defrauded over R1.2B.

23 years later and children studying under trees. We got all the money and is squandered by respective ministers in government. Unfortunately there are a few very honest ministers in government. Mandela’s dream was education for all. It seems corruption, not democracy, is what we fought for. Can the education department explain how a new school plan was passed, budget allocated, contractor paid out in full, and no school actually built. It is shocking how corrupt our government is. Don’t do what the apartheid government did: show them that you are better than them. Retired.

Sport

Problems in the Camp. Do our cricket players think we are blind? Tell me is there still a race problem in the team, or should we change the captain, from AB to Faf ? This should quickly make a change now, because our captain is useless.

Odds and ends

Regarding the smart card roll out, on page 18 of the eThekwini yellow pages directory it’s clearly stated that the first issue of the smart is free. On application, I had to fork out R140. Dada.

Satish Ramlall: no one is dictating to you as to how you spend your hard-earned money celebrating Diwali. We are asking for consideration for humans and animals. A bit of compassion and kindness can make a lot of difference to how we relate to each other. Lynn, Glenashley.

Mariannhill licensing woes. I went there three days in a row to find long queues in excess of 200. I then drove to Salt Rock, an hour away, and to the council office opposite the library to have immediate service, as there was no queue. How pleasant they were too. Ken Clarke.

Principals have no accountability. They just leave the schools regularly for unofficial purposes. This must be recorded on the school register.

SA must stand up against rubbish criminals. We need death penalty back asap.
