A NOTE FROM THE SCHOOL

The Winstedt School (TWS) transforms learning and education by challenging, empowering and nurturing students on a different learning curve. The school sees each child as having unique attributes and resources, and this is where their journey begins. Small classes allow for successful learning with specialised teachers, and all learners are given equal opportunities in an inclusive, safe and nurturing learning environment to enable growth to the fullest potential.

What’s new?

The new school campus is ten times bigger than the previous one – with the ability to hold both indoor and outdoor sporting events. There are specialist gyms that house fun equipment, a laboratory for experiments and an art studio for kids to unleash their creativity.

A WORD FROM PARENTS

Smaryn and Darren Cohen, South African; Ciara (10) Joining The Winstedt School has been a game changer for our family, so much so that we are remaining in Singapore for longer than initially planned. We value the school’s unique approach to education and how it has built confidence in Ciara. The teachers’ dedication to offering each child an equal opportunity to learn has been unparalleled. Ciara has greatly benefitted from a smaller class size. Her teachers are passionate and proactive and it’s a pleasure seeing Ciara excited about going to school. We’re so grateful that the school believes that a child’s emotional well-being plays an integral part in their success as a student.

The school offers a dedicated Occupational, Speech and Language therapy centre, and our communication with Ciara’s therapist and the teachers has been invaluable. TWS is a true testament to the proverb ‘It takes a village to raise a child’.
