MoCI recalls models of Triumph Bikes and Jeep Grand Cherokee

-

THE Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in collaboration with Al Fardan Automobiles, Qatar’s Triumph dealership, has issued a recall for Triumph Bikes Speed Triple RS and Speed Triple RR, 20212024 models. This recall is due to a potential issue where high temperature levels may cause the radiator fan motor to fail, resulting in the malfunction indicator light illuminating.

Additionally, the ministry, in partnership with United Cars Almana, Qatar’s Jeep dealership, has announced a recall for Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2021-2023 models. This recall is initiated due to a possible damage to the bolt fixing the upper suspension arm during the vehicle assembly process. Such damage may lead to the separation of the arm from the rest of the suspension system, potentially causing the tire to dislodge while driving.

The ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.

The ministry said that would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

The ministry has urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions through the following channels: Call Center: 16001; Email: info@moci. gov.qa; social media channels: @mociqatar; or mobile application: MOCIQatar.
