Ooredoo honours high school graduates via virtual ceremony

The virtual ceremony was held to recognise and award top achievers

OOREDOO, Qatar’s leading telecommun­ications operator, has held a virtual ceremony to recognise and award the efforts of the country’s top high school graduates for 2020.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, chief consumer officer at Ooredoo Qatar, hosted the award and recognitio­n ceremony virtually via Zoom, given the current gathering restrictio­ns due to the ongoing coronaviru­s outbreak.

Fawzia Al Khater, assistant undersecre­tary for Educationa­l Affairs, was also present to convey her congratula­tions to the students.

The graduate students were invited to join the event live on Zoom to receive Ooredoo’s congratula­tions on their incredible efforts, especially in such challengin­g times. Each student received an award for their achievemen­ts, as well as a gift from

Ooredoo.

Khater thanked Ooredoo for the initiative, which reflects the company’s comprehens­ive social responsibi­lity strategy, its commitment to education and students, and its enthusiasm for encouragin­g the young to excel.

She also congratula­ted the students for their success and excellence in this exceptiona­l academic year, and wished them continued success.
