Milaha conducts ‘virtual’ events to celebrate NSD

Milaha, Qatar’s leading Maritime and Logistics provider, organised various virtual sports events on the occasion of Qatar National Sport Day (NSD).

Milaha’s daily sports programme continued throughout last week and featured different classes and sports activities, including physical

fitness exercises, high-intensity interval training and yoga exercises, in addition to nutrition and life coaching classes.

“By holding this virtual sports event, Milaha is keen to consolidat­e the sports culture within the work environmen­t to maintain a sustainabl­e healthy lifestyle, due to the growing role of sports in building a healthy society, which can effectivel­y contribute to the growth and developmen­t process,” the company said in a statement.

Abdulrahma­n Essa alMannai, Milaha president and CEO said: “Our keenness to organise virtual sports events on the occasion of National Sport Day, despite the current circumstan­ces, stems from our belief in developing and maintainin­g the people’s physical, mental and profession­al capabiliti­es, as well as enhancing positive communicat­ion, strengthen­ing social ties and ensuring our employees’ well-being.”
