The closing of the 2017 activities of the Senior Association was a complete success on both the sports and social fields. Oitavos Dunes, one of the best golf courses in the world, this year was the chosen stage for the EuroBic Cup, whose winners were José Cândido Oliveira in Gross, Manuel Brigas in Net, Isabel Guedes in Ladies and Ilídio Rodrigues Antunes in Master Seniors. At the Order of Merit EuroBic 2017 winners consecration dinner, which took place excellently at the prestigious Palácio Estoril Hotel, the President of the Association, António Rebelo, had the opportunity to mention that the ASNG are growing at an impressive pace. But, he wants more and better. So future goals, are not only for growing, but also to strengthen the female sector, with their participation in the international events of the ESGA. He was followed by the President of the Portuguese Golf Federation, Miguel Franco de Sousa, who praised the dynamism of the Association, saying that future projects can count on the support of the FPG. To conclude the ceremony, Prof. Teixeira dos Santos, EuroBic CEO, expressed satisfaction at all that is being done in this partnership, saying: in 2018, EuroBic will continue to sponsor the Association. OEncerramento das actividades da Associação do ano de 2017 traduziu-se num êxito total quer no campo desportivo quer social. Oitavos Dunes, um dos melhores campos de golfe do mundo, foi este ano o percurso escolhido para a realização da Taça EuroBic, cujos vencedores foram José Cândido Oliveira em Gross, Manuel Brigas em net, Isabel Guedes em Senhoras e Ilídio Rodrigues Antunes em Master Seniores. No jantar de consagração dos vencedores da Ordem de Mérito EuroBic 2017, que decorreu de forma excelente no prestigiado Palácio Estoril Hotel, o Presidente da Associação, António Rebelo, teve a oportunidade de referir que esta tem crescido a um ritmo impressionante, mas que se quer mais e melhor, pelo que existem objectivos futuros, não só de crescimento, mas também no fortalecimento do sector feminino, com a respectiva participação nos eventos internacionais da ESGA. Seguiu-se a intervenção do Presidente da Federação Portuguesa de Golfe, Miguel Franco de Sousa, que elogiou o dinamismo da Associação e que nos novos projectos que se avizinham podem contar com o apoio da FPG. A encerrar a cerimónia, o Profº Teixeira dos Santos, Presidente da Comissão Executiva do EuroBic, referiu a satisfação por tudo aquilo que está a ser feito nesta parceria e que em 2018, o EuroBic continuará a apoiar a Associação.
