Wicked Wonders
Here’s how to revel in your favorite spooky ‘holiday’ a little longer this year.
Okay, it’s time to come clean: Halloween is our favorite holiday. Well, “holiday.” There’s no shortage of candy, costumes and creepy stories, which, as you can imagine, gets us excited every time Oct. 31 rolls around. But just when November comes along, we almost always wish it were still Halloween, so we came up with some tricks and treats to help you (and us, really) live in the spooky space a little longer.
Treat: Klean Kanteen x ICanServe Foundation
If you’re on a sugar-free diet this Halloween, you might as well treat yourself to another type of candy. Klean Kanteen recently released their limited-edition Carnival Candy bottles in partnership with ICanServe Foundation. Not only will it complement your possible Elle Woods all-pink Halloween costume, it will also help real-life girl bosses. A portion of the proceeds will go to the foundation, helping women who are at risk or are currently living with breast cancer. You can get yours at all Certified Calm branches or online via certifiedcalm.com.
Trick: Dead Kids
Word of director Mikhail Red’s next film Dead Kids has been buzzing for some time, and we’ve all been waiting with bated breath for the official announcement of screening dates. Well, there’s even better news: the upcoming slasher starring Sue Ramirez, Khalil Ramos, Gabby Padilla and more is premiering on Netflix. Get ready to thrill and chill — the film starts streaming on the service later this year.
Treat: Instax Mini Link
Everyone knows by now that an Instax print is a perfect way to capture your Halloween memories. But carrying around an Instax camera can be far too much trouble if you’re going around town painting it red. Instax recently came out with the Instax Mini Link, a powerbank-sized photo printer that gets you the same nostalgic Instax prints using just your smartphone and its accompanying app. Plus, you get to choose which pics to print — gotta make sure it’s cute, amirite?
