FEU top performing school in physician board exam
For posting a 99.24 passing percentage among its first time takers in the recent licensure examination for physicians, the Far Eastern UniversityNicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Institute of Medicine was recognized by the Professional Regulations Commission as the country’s No. 1 top performing school.
The recognition is bestowed on schools that had 50 or more examinees and posted an 80 percent passing. The FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine had 131 first time takers, 130 of whom successfully hurdled the examination. Overall, the school posted a 97.96 passing percentage.
The national passing percentage was 76.57.
Over the years, the FEUNRMF Institute of Medicine had consistently been bestowed with the recognition as one of the country’s top performing medical schools.
Meanwhile, two FEUNRMF graduates placed first and fifth in the recent licensure examination for medical technologists. The two are Zairah De Leon Monjardin, first place with a 91.10 percent rating and Niczon Miranda Lee, fifth place with a 90.20 rating.
The School of Medical Technology posted a passing percentage of 96.30 among its first time takers and an overall passing percentage of 93.75 as against the national passing percentage of 68.45.
On the other hand, the FEU –NRMF School of Physical Therapy posted a 95.45 passing percentage among its first time takers in the recent licensure examination for physical therapists posting an overall passing percentage of 84.62 as against the national passing of 59.98 percent.
