5th Don Bosco Film Festival a success
The awarding ceremony of the 5th Don Bosco Film Festival (DBFF) was held last Feb. 23 at the Joy Center of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati City.
Filipino film director Kip Oebanda, a member of the DBFF board of judges and an alumnus of Don Bosco Technical College, Mandaluyong City, was this year’s keynote speaker. He challenged the young bosconian filmmakers present in this event to use their God-given talent and passion for filmmaking into producing worthwhile stories that can truly serve the good interest of society. As filmmakers, they have a big responsibility in using this tool to serve the genuine values of life.
This year’s guest performers, The Coro Di Don Bosco, an all-male choir of St. John Bosco Parish, Makati City, rendered two songs during the intermission.
