Primeline gears up for bigger productions
Primeline Management and Productions, Inc. (PMPI), the 33-year-old company that has established itself in show business as a paragon in production and talent management, gears up for a busier 2019.
Primeline is run by the husbandand-wife tandem of Ronnie and Ida Henares and the one distinctly behind the Cinderella-rise to stardom of Regine Velasquez and Lani Misalucha, just to name a few.
Recently, Primeline mounted a successful reunion concert called Twofus…Reunion of Friends at the Solaire, which featured Ronnie and his long-time pal Jojit Paredes (both were the country’s biggest heartthrobs during the ‘70s).
Jojit and Ronnie, along with their guests — OPM icons Jim Paredes and Buboy Garovillo, beyond funny Mitch Valdes and the age-defying Aldeguer Sisters — all delivered an enjoyable night.
Primeline is proud to present their new high-caliber stable of artists — Mary Joy Apostol, 4th Impact, Ava and Alexa Miro.
Mary Joy’s budding career has already been getting nods from local and International award-giving bodies. She has tucked under her belt Best Actress awards from Facine Festival (San Francisco), Vietnam Film Festival, Eddy’s Choice Awards, Ursula Best Heritage Film Awards and Gintong Kabataan. Mary Joy is one of Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ambassadors for global recognitions.
She has starred on ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya four times already and her most recent episode titled Incest daughter garnered a high rating of 26.4 percent over competition. Catch her in the ABS-CBN series Los Bastardos, as well as upcoming movies Eerie and Hospicio.
The Cercado Sisters form the most successful global Filipina singing group called 4th impact. Theirs is a triumphant story from humble beginnings to a life borne out of a dream. The X Factor UK favorites are humbled by how the public has received them globally — 120M hits for their audition video and another million views for their Never Enough video on YouTube and counting.
Ava and her band have been creating waves in the live performance circuit and delivering high-energy music at the Resorts World Bar 360 nightly.
Alexa is another Primeline star on the rise. After her Jollibee online commercial went viral, she was tapped to appear on ABS-CBN’s Araw Gabi where she got noticed all the more. A pure bundle of talent, the attractive young actress-commercial model is a good singer as well.
Ronnie masterfully juggles his many capabilities as an actor, singer, businessman and sportsman. On the acting front, Ronnie continues to shine on GMA 7. In Pepito Manaloto, he makes TV audiences laugh and love pettifogger Tommy Diones. In The Cure, he was the director of the board who betrayed the company. In the new primetime show Cain at Abel, he personifies the villain Gov. Gener. Not to take his musicality for granted, Ronnie performs weekly with his band Midlife Crisis at Chef and Brewer and on weekends, he can be found either at the firing range or at the fairway.
