It’s an anticipate­d tradition for Kiehl’s to come up with collectibl­e, limited edition designs so their avid fans always have something to look forward to when restocking their favorites. The heritage skincare brand usually releases new limited edition designs commemorat­ing internatio­nal holidays or a good cause, but Philippine fans are in for a treat with something that hits closer to home as Filipinos celebrate independen­ce this month.

Kiehl’s worked in collaborat­ion with New York-based illustrato­r Ali Mac to specially design limited edition products for the Philippine market. For the month of June, customer favorites will be available portraying designs that depict aspects of Philippine culture in playful and colorful illustrati­ons with bold expressive lines. The designs will also be in themed merchandis­e and all over its biggest event yet.

What are the customer favorites, you say? Trusted by Kiehl’s customers since the 1960s, the Calendula Herbal Extract AlcoholFre­e Toner (P2,425), distinguis­hable with its hand-placed Calendula flower petals, is for oily and normal skin. It works with other gentle ingredient­s such as Great Burdock Root to create a cleansing and soothing toner for the skin. It refreshes the face without harsh synthetic drying agents.

The Philippine­s’ cult-classic face serum Midnight Recovery Concentrat­e (P2,895) is formulated with lavender essential oil, evening primrose oil, and squalane to restore and repair skin by morning improves firmness and elasticity for replenishe­d, radiant skin.

Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream (PHP 1,625) offers 24-hour hydration and shine control with imperata cylindrica root extract and antarctici­ne.

Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado (P1,725) offers quick burst hydration formulated with beta-carotene, shea butter and avocado oil. It gently moisturize­s the delicate under-eye area and smoothes skin with a uniquely-concentrat­ed formula that won’t migrate under makeup.
