With the opening of three new properties in Manila and Quezon City, Red Planet solidifies its position as the largest and fastest-growing pan-Asian budget hotel chain. Red Planet Manila Bay, a 150-room property offering a stunning view of Manila Bay’s famous sunset, is located across the US embassy on Roxas Blvd. The hotel serves Manila’s burgeoning inbound tourist arrivals seeking to take in the sights of Old Manila and Intramuros. Additionally, the hotel is proximate to several government agencies, corporate offices and the Mall of Asia complex.

Red Planet Quezon Aurora Boulevard is a 167-room property conveniently located next to Cubao’s buzzing shopping and dining scene and close to Cubao Expo. This hotel is well-situated for guests intending to attend concerts and events at the Araneta Center and Kia Theater.

Red Planet Manila Binondo is a 171-room property in Manila’s lively Chinatown business district. The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from the district’s shopping malls and bustling wholesale markets. Guests can enjoy the charming historical sites in an old-Manila atmosphere, surrounded by myriad dining options.

All three properties feature the latest Red Planet standards – bright, modern and innovative lobbies. Along with a bank of Apple computers free for guest use, there is also an “Info wall” containing everything guests need to know about what is happening around the hotels and a “Photo-Me” booth enabling guests to take selfies to be shared on social media platforms. All rooms provide free high-speed WiFi, powerful showers, quality custom made beds and other features.

“The opening of these three hotels further consolidates Red Planet’s position as the budget hotel leader in the country, with 13 hotels operating in the Philippines, nine of which being in Metro Manila,” said Tim Hansing, Red Planet CEO. “The brand will continue to rapidly roll out in the Philippines, with five additional hotels under construction.”

“The three new hotels raise the Red Planet Philippines’ portfolio to a total of 2,208 rooms across the country, which is expecting 7.4 million tourist arrivals this year,” remarked Sahlee Zaldivia, country head of the Philippines.

Red Planet currently owns and operates 30 hotels in four countries, with a focus on comfort, convenience and style at an affordable price.

The tech-savvy budget hotel chain continues to pioneer its world-class app featuring an “InStay Mode,” augmenting guests’ experience by enabling them to chat directly with the hotel’s front desk even before arriving at the hotel.

In addition, guests using the mobile app have access to lists of top local attractions, car services and discounts at more than 200 restaurants located near Red Planet hotels.
