Revolution Precrafted enters South America

Revolution Precrafted, one of the strongest property-tech companies in Asia, has awarded a franchising agreement to Innovation LLC for the supply of mid-priced residential units in Ecuador, a move expected to further boost the company’s reach as it finally enters the lucrative South and Central American markets.

“This franchise agreement with Innovation LLC is a strategic move for the company. It allows us to tap into the huge South and Central American landbank. This supports our goal of extending our reach to at least 20 to 25 markets this year,” said Robbie Antonio, founder and CEO of Revolution Precrafted.

The Ecuador deal marks Revolution Precrafted’s entry into its 11th international market.

Under the deal, Revolution Precrafted will supply mid to luxury residential homes and villas to Ecuador, through Innovation LLC, which is finalizing agreements with large real estate developers in Quito and surrounding cities.

Ecuador, located near the equator, is surrounded by Colombia and Peru. It has a population of 16.5 million. The demand for housing in the country continues to rise as it experiences rapid modernization and economic development. The housing stock also needs to be replenished following the damage of the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that hit the country in 2016.

Data from Ecuadorian real estate groups show that there is a huge demand in the mid-market segment with housing prices of $70,000 to 150,000, with an average area of 117 square meters.

“We want to support the economic development of Ecuador by providing design-driven residential units for the middle-class residents and migrating expat community,” Antonio added.
