Keds opens first store in Phl

-

Keds opens its first store in the Philippines and first in Southeast Asia. Located at the second floor of the newlyopened Robinsons Magnolia mall, the store exudes a hip, trendy vibe with its display of Keds’ standout sneaker collection in a fun preppy setting.

The store carries its signature American Classic: The Keds Champion. This is the first shoe with a soft rubber sole, so comfortable and quiet you could sneak up on anyone. The lightweight canvas shoe, which was to become the original sneaker, has remained a style icon for almost 100 years.

The fashion adventurous ladies will never run out of choices among the newest prints including metallic stars, florals and exotic animal prints. There is also a bevy of material choices from Chambray Champions to the boat shoe-inspired Skipper in dark purple suede leather.

The guys can expect to see the Keds Champion in an array of colors, from basic red, black, gray, navy and white — to the Fall sea- son’s olive and khaki color palette in Army Twill fabric. Not to be missed is the brand’s upcoming collaboration with legendary menswear shoemaker Mark McNairy. For this collaboration, the brand dug deep into its archives to bring us the Triumph by Mark McNairy. In the ’20s and ’30s, The Triumph hopped across the court on tennis greats and around town on style icons. Now, Mark McNairy brings the silhouette back with his clean and simple design aesthetic and signature brick outsole.

Keds is also available at Shoe Salon, Complex Lifestyle Store in Eastwood Mall, Ayala Center Cebu, Festival Mall and Alabang Town Center and at SM Supermalls. For details, like facebook.com/kedsphilippines or follow twitter.com/KedsPH.
