PRO-7 among top performing offices in anti-drugs campaign

The Police Regional Office-7 was among the top performing police offices in the country in the campaign against illegal drugs.

PRO-7 director Chief Superintendent Noli Taliño said they are among the top five performing offices as far as the project Double Barrel and Double Barrel Alpha are concerned.

“Not necessarily number one but we are one of the top performers. Wala naman ratings, actually. As you can see in the data doon sa accomplishments, nandoon tayo sa upper part ng lahat ng mga regions,” he said.

Taliño said there were already several barangays recommended to be declared drug-free but are still subject to validation.

“May mga recommendation na for barangays to be declared drugfree. But we will still validate this barangays kung talagang drugfree sila,” he said.

Although PRO-7 was already among the top performing regional offices, Taliño said there is still a lot of room for improvement.

He said the police in Central Visayas still need to improve.
