Bacoor fun run for a cause
Bacoor is celebrating this September its 344th Founding Anniversary via Bakood Festival 2015.
The city government, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Rep. Lani Mercado Revilla, Vice Mayor Karen Sarino-Evaristo and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, has prepared a series of events together with various sectors, such as city and barangay officials, city employees, non-government organizations, homeowner associations, teachers and students, and the business community.
One of the festival’s major events is the City of Bacoor Fun Run for a Cause (Bacooreno Ayaw sa Droga) on September 5, 2015, 5 a.m., at the Bacoor Government Center (BGC) grounds, Bacoor Boulevard (formerly Molino Boulevard).
The quarterly fun run for a cause, with free zumba session, will also serve as the re-launch of the city government’s anti-drug campaign in cooperation with the Philippine National Police (Bacooreno Ayaw sa Droga).
No registration fee is required. Participants would just need to sign up during the pre-registration period (until August 28, 2015) to have their names included in the giant Bacooreno Ayaw sa Droga manifesto/backdrop.
Registration is ongoing at the Public Information Office, 4/F, City Hall of Bacoor, Brgy Tabing Dagat until 28 August 2015. For further details, contact 0935 764 7171, 0999 456 9686, 0906 311 1914. Event supporters are Maynilad, SM, Jollibee, Planet Cable.
