Lazatin forms transition team
ANGELES CITY — Mayor-Elect Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. said he had formed a transition team to ensure a smooth transfer of power in the local government unit’s leadership and administration.
Lazatin bared this during a media forum on Tuesday dubbed News @Hues hosted by the Pampanga Press Club and the Park Inn by Radisson Clark.
Lazatin said the team will be composed of former councilor Willie Rivera, businessman Frankie Villanueva, Malabanias Chairman Reynaldo Gueco, Dan Nacu, Dr. Froilan Canlas, Kercee Lazatin and others.
The incoming mayor said he is still waiting for the formal invitation of incumbent Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan.

po naguumpisa yung usapan, hinihintay pa po namin ang imbitasyon na mangagaling po sa ating alkalde,” Lazatin sai d.
The mayor-elect said his first order of business is to check the operations and services of the Ospital Ning Angeles (ONA).
He said his team received numerous complaints from the people of Angeles City during the campaign period.
“Aayusin po muna natin ang ating ospital para makita po natin kung gaano kasama. Iyan po ang unang unang reklamo ng ating mga kababayan dito sa Lungsod ng Angeles,” Lazatin sai d.
Rural health units (RHUs) in the city will be activated, according to him.
“Almost all of the six RHUs in the city are not operational and they have no medicines. So we will prioritize the rehabilitation of these health centers,” Lazatin said.
