NURTURING A GOLDEN HAND
OLIVER M. SANGALANG
The heart that beats for the benefit of others of human existence.
Our journey towards the ultimate cause of our existence is beyond nourishment of our physiological needs, hence it also transcends how we envisioned ourselves to be who we wanted to be. It is how we maximized our own potentials to be the extension of other people. Specially, those who needed us the most. Existence therefore, is how you matter in the society where you belong. It is how you can contribute to the betterment of human civilization.
Giving whatever form is always a painful yet fulfilling process. It is an act of taking a part of. Who we are to give light to others.
Although, the overwhelming notion of giving can lead to pacification of self-ego. Which can perhaps develop to self-gratification that may build to a more personal benefit of satisfying the expectation of the society to whom we become and what we were able to accomplish.
For young professionals like us, it might take a great effort to immerse ourselves to an adept wisdom before we will be able to separate the act of pacifying our ego from the real essence of greater cause for others.
