Although she admitted that she isn’t ready for national pageants, but with the encouragement from her friends and family, Bungay still represented Pampanga with pride and honor.
Being the representative of Pampanga in Miss Millennial PH, they were expected to be what millennials are nowadays.
“The pageant itself was no ordinary. They told us they would expect us to act our age, to be vibrant, youthful and jolly like how millennials are which is in contrast with how it usually is in formal pageants,” Bungay said.
Miss Millennial Philippines, a program hosted by Eat Bulaga which aims to showcase the millennial beauty as well as the beauty of their respective provinces, was held during the month September.
But prior to joining the Miss Millennial Philippines, Bungay also happens to be the Mutya ning Kapampangan 2016.
At a young age she started participating into school pageants which happens to be her first winning title.
“I was 4th year high school. It wasn't really a formal pageant, we were not even wearing heels back then. I represented Helen of Troy, though I kind of forgot my introduction spiels, I was able to win the title”, said Bungay.
She is born and raised at Porac, Pampanga and studies BSEd in Mathematics at Angeles University Foundation (AUF).
Bungay is not just a beauty queen but also a student leader and a scholar. She is currently the College Student Council President of the College of Education AUF.
She said that balancing time and setting one’s priority is not her key into balancing stuff she has but rather to seek help from the people who are willing.
“I cannot say time management, setting one's priorities or any of those stuff because I am not good at them. The key is to seek help from the people that are willing especially when you feel like you cannot handle it anymore. I seek help from classmates, co-officers and friends when I can no longer manage joggling my duties as a scholar, ‘beauty queen’ and officer”, Bungay said.
