Dr. Christopher Pio O. Pulido, the supervising education program specialist at ChedDavao, disclosed this during a media interview on Friday morning, May 10, 2024, at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Gymnasium. Ched offers scholarships specifically for the children of coconut farmers, with ongoing opportunities. Pulido encouraged those interested to visit the Ched website for online application details.

Regarding the issue of delayed tuition fee payments for Ched scholars, Pulido clarified that the commission acts as an implementer of central office programs.

He said that any remaining unutilized funds revert to the national treasury, underscoring the commission’s commitment to disbursing transferred funds efficiently. (Read full story on sunstar.com.ph/davao)/RGP
