AUTHORITIES BRING DOWN DRUG DEN
Authorities nab seven high-value targets and confiscate suspected shabu worth P120,000 from the operation.
Another drug den was destroyed while several high value targets were arrested by authorities during the joint anti-drug operation in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
Police Chief Inspector Milgrace Driz, Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 spokesperson, said on Saturday the operatives in Davao del Norte have forged effort in carrying out the buybust operation to stop the illegal operation of these identified personalities.
The operation resulted to the dismantling of a drug den in Teachers Village, Magugpo South, Tagum City and the arrest of Joey Villanueva, Rowena Demetria (assigned to maintain the drug den), Jesson Montellano, Janneco Abrencia, Rommel Abellon, Manuel Ayado, and Bienvenido Quilario, identified to be high value targets.
Confiscated during the operation was more or less 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P120,000 and other drug paraphernalia.
The operation was pulled by the agents and personnel of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Compostela Valley, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Davao del Norte, Monkayo Municipal Police Station-Compostela Valley Provincial Police Office-Provincial Intelligence Branch (CVPPO-PIB), Tagum City and Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office, with the overall supervision of PRO 11 Regional Director Police Chief Superintendent Marcelo Morales.
On the same day, same drug enforcement operatives also conducted buy-bust operations at Purok 6, Berrio site, Brgy. San Miguel and at Purok 1-A, San Miguel, all in Tagum City which resulted to the arrests of Andy Valderama Lara and Omar Oliva Diama.
Confiscated from the suspects were more or less two grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride known as shabu amounting to more or less P24,000.
