During the AFP-PNP Press Corps Southern Mindanao press briefing yesterday at The Royal Mandaya Hotel, PMA Public Information Officer (PIO) Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Balido encouraged those who are interested to join the PMA to file their applications.

"Aside from the desire to serve the country, they have free education, and the guaranteed work after graduation. For those who are interested to enter the PMA there are ways to apply,” he said.

ence. They are 2CL Serr Louis Pedro, 2CL Mark Delph Lamberte, 2CL Alen Mae Budiongan, 2CL Renz Cyrus Ramos and 2CL Lucky Mabanding.

The cadets shared their experiences inside the PMA and also cited the benefits of joining the academy.

“We are receiving almost 36,000 pesos per month allowances allotted for our clothing and for our daily expenses. For those who would like to be a cadet, there are a lot of benefits you can receive here,” Ramos said.

They are here for their Southern Cruise 2018 Davao Leg. There were several activities lined up during their visit here, like silent drill exhibition at Jose Maria College on May 3 at 9:30 a.m. and at the University of Mindanao-Matina Campus on May 4, mangrove tree planting and recruitment activity.

For those who are interested and have inquiries about the application, they have put up a booth in Abreeza Mall and application forms are available online at www.PMA.ph.

A total of 271 cadets are in the city for the Southern Cruise. The tour aims to orient the cadets on different AFP and PNP units in Davao and widen their perspective on the dynamics of military service.
