12 wanted persons nabbed in operations

RELENTLESS in their pursuit to bust criminality and terrorism, authorities apprehended another batch of wanted personalities in the city.

In an interview on Friday, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) spokesperson Police Senior Inspector Ma. Teresita Gaspan said that the joint operation, oplan Bulabog captured 12. A total of 1,495 residents are also going through inspection to check whether they are involved with lawless armed groups.

Gaspan further identified these individuals as Liza Astrologo Jennifer Merculita Alamis and Milagros Jardena Costan for violation of Presidential Decree (PD) 1602 or Prescribing Stiffer Penalties on Illegal Gambling; Marlon Lumin Enoc for the crime of attempted murder and Atancio Inodioan Dogcotanon for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9262 otherwise known as the “Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.”

The operation also netted Patricio Lampadio Cullantes for serious physical injuries; Jerouslee Madulin y Ensedencia for violation of RA 9262; Yvis Kim Hernane Amplayo and Roland Brix Rosales Eborde with CC # R-DVO-?17-03432-CR; Cedric B Cabillan for rape and Christopher Baltazar Gesta for violation of Sec 1 (A) of PD1602 along with

Chan Ponteras Anunciado for two counts of frustrated murder and another for attempted murder was also arrested by authorities.

“They are under the custody of their respective arresting Police Stations while documentations for their endorsement to the concerned issuing Courts are being prepared for their expeditious disposition,” the spokesperson clarified. (For full story visit www.sunstar.com. ph/davao/)
