Angel still mum on rift with Angelica g

ACTRESS Angel Locsin kept her silence on the rumored rift with Angelica Panganiban.

Angel said that it wasn’t the best time to discuss the issue as Angelica has went through a lot because of the passing of her adoptive mother.

“Medyo sensitive kasi yung sitwasyon ngayon sa kanya. Ayoko ko munang mag comment or makadagdag pa sa pinagdadaanan niya. Basta masaya ako para sa kanya and deserving naman talaga niya ‘yung trophy,” Angel said.

The two actresses, who topbilled the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “One More Try,Try,” both received the Film Actresses of the Year at the 44th Guillermo Mendoza Box-Office Entertainment Awards held last week.

Both actresses were present at the ceremony to accept the award and thank the moviegoers who supported the movie.

It was Angel’s third Best Actress trophy for “One More Try.” She received the same awards at the Famas and PMPC Star Awards for Movies.

“Masayang masaya ako talaga kasi pang second time ko sa Guillermo and never ko talagang inisip na bibigyan ulit nila ako ng ganitong kalaking parangal. Maraming maraming salamat talaga,” said Angel who was shaking while receiving the award.

The actress was escorted to the event by her boyfriend, footballer Phil Younghusband.

“I ’ m very, very proud of Angel. She’s very talented in the movie and I’m very happy for that,” Phil said.

Angel said she had a successful 2012 as she top billed in the movie, received good reviews, got acting awards.

“Nanalo ka ng award at nagkaroon ka pa ng ganito ka gwapo at kabait na boyfriend, I’m so happy,” she added.

Angel is currently filming her next Star Cinema movie with Enchong Dee, Shaina Magdayao, Bea Alonzo and Toni Gonzaga.
