Supt. Julius E. Silagan, chief of the Talomo police

station, said the suspect was arrested and charged based on the affidavit/complaint of Mark Gil Cautivar, 32, of Purok 4, Sitio Nalum, Baliok in Talomo.

Personnel of the Talomo Police Station brought the suspect before a prosecutor’s office on Tuesday around 10:30 a.m. for inquest proceedings. Record from the police showed that on Tuesday around 11:50 a.m. the complainant was inside the house of his fatherin-law when a concerned citizen arrived informing him that Paraguya, eho was armed with a knife, went to his house and was looking for him.

The complainant saw the suspect blocked the street so his wife cannot enter the house, but the woman managed to run off and enter the house, informing his husband what the suspect did to their own house.

“Hearing the reports, the complainant went outside the terrace of his father-inlaw’s house, and look for the suspect. The suspect shouted and challenged the victim to go down because he wanted to kill him. Nakulbaan na ang wife mao tong nag tawag na sila ug 911,” Silagan said.

Silagan said when their men arrived at the area, the suspect even tried to elude the arrest. Recovered from the possession of the suspect was the knife with wooden handle, measuring about 14 inches.

The suspect is now detained at the Talomo Police Station for his proper disposition. ICT
