Last December 13 2018, Castle Power launched the newest, most versatile and cost-efficient product, the SEM 510
soil compactor. Held at the City di Mare grounds, South Road Properties, the event was well attended by the decision makers of the construction industry, Castle Power’s management and sales team and SEM Southeast Asia’s region team. SEM provides machines that are affordable, reliable and supported.
SEM Soil Compactor
Essential to various applications including road, railway, airfield, and industry yard compaction, the 10-ton SEM 510 soil compactor’s performance is 15 percent greater than that of its competitor models. Its eccentric vibe pod design extends system life by up to 50 percent, and its sealed gear eliminates contamination, prolonging bearing life. An electronically controlled transmission makes shifting easier and reduces operating fatigue thereby improving efficiency and reliability. A three-level alarm system also diagnoses issues and notifies the operator through indicator lights and audio alarms.
SEM Wheel Loader
SEM provides loaders for every application--compact, small, and midsize. The SEM 655D Wheel Loader in particular, features countershaft transmission and drive axles that are assembled in-house, at a Caterpillar facility. Its low-speed engine translates to better fuel consumption and lower operation cost. Comfort of the operator is thoughtfully considered with a premium cabin that boasts a bigger space, superior visibility, and single joystick controls. The Caterpillar-designed General Performance Series bucket delivers up to 110 percent fill factor for increased productivity.
SEM Track-Type Tractor
Backed by over 100 years of Caterpillar technology and design experience, the SEM 816D dozer’s hydrostatic drive produces higher work efficiency and maximum output traction force. Its world-class hydraulic pump and final drive motor ensures greater reliability and an increased torque ratio for higher transmission efficiency and low maintenance costs. It also bears the same Caterpillar design with its single handle tiller bar and joystick controls, minimizing fatigue, and improving ease of operation.
SEM Motor Grader
SEM motor graders are designed with a larger-thanaverage cab mounted on the front frame to provide an exceptional view of the blade and front axle even during articulation. Measuring 1.9 meters in height, the cab allows for exceptional operator comfort and productivity. The seven position link bar with electric over hydraulic controls makes it easier to operate from within the cab, while its optimum blade reach capability increases productivity. Showcasing maximum strength and durability, this motor grader features an A-frame tubular design drawbar, a flanged box section that removes welds from high-stress areas, and continuous top and bottom plate construction.
