Dawn denies Bamboo as her brother
Actress Dawn Zulueta finally broke her silence in her official Twitter account to address speculations saying that she and The Voice of The Philippines judge Bamboo Mañalac are siblings.
Dawn admitted that she has high respect for the Questions singer but reiterated that Bamboo is not her brother, ABS-CBN reported.
The Kapamilya actress (real name Marie Rachel Salman Taleon-Lagdameo) said she and her brother, George, are the only children of her parents, Jose Fazil Tahanlangit-Taleon and Maria Cleofe Soleta-Salman.
The Bukas na lang Kita Mamahalin star said her father remarried and she only has two half-brothers, Jed and Josiah. Here is an excerpt of Dawn’s statement:
“(sic) I can keep silent no more. This was a persistent rumor that I didn’t pay much attention to before. But now it seems to have spiraled into several ‘official’ announcement on social media. Let me first point out that I have high respect for Mr. Bamboo Manalac and I trust he will understand my sentiments in this matter. Having said that, I exhort him to submit his own account on this gossip-gone-viral, as a courtesy... I implore everyone who has taken part in spreading this wild rumor to please check and RE-CHECK your sources...”
