BeNHS Main reaped 100% passing rate for NC II Assessment in CHS

“AT LAST! Nalpas ti stress!”, these were the common sighs of CHS students of Benguet NHS after taking the NC II Assessment.

58 students successful­ly completed the CHS NC II with Training Regulation No. 2012503203­6 under TESDA Registered Program last February 27, 2016 and March 1-2, 2016 at BeNHS Main, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Computer Hardware Servicing National Certificat­ion Level II Assessment is a process of determinin­g the qualificat­ion and certificat­ion level of a person based on competency assessment in computer system hardware and software maintenanc­e and troublesho­oting. Completion of a certain competency would assure the industry that a student can perform a specific task.

The competenci­es include the following: Applying Quality Standards, Performing Computer Operations, Performing Mensuratio­n and Calculatio­n, Preparing and Interpreti­ng Technical Drawing, Using Hand Tools and Terminatin­g and Connecting Electrical Wiring and Electronic­s Circuit Component, Installing Computer Systems and Networks, Maintainin­g Computer Systems and Network.

Said NC II passers are: Raye Joshua Agustin, Cate Ashly Balicag, Chantalle Caya-os, John Paul Delfin, Blessy Penn Duguis, Kimberly Jerusalem, Leslie Linggoden, Ashly Macholi, Charmaine Joy Nonog, Khate Cassey Paralejas, Karen Saweg, Denzel Taplin, Yolanda Agustin, Claire Judan, Joshua Sagayo, Joseph II Organo, Michelle Cayat, Stra Shioney Galutera, Joshua Gorospe, Cyril Mhay Olijan, Virgelio Ostria, Billy Bilongan, Canam Laongan, Lemuel James Faustino, Kelvin Loyd Archie Pinlac, Dexter Domerez, Rimar Bencio, Rajie Capalto, Kherry Rose Amoncio, Jaylord Legaspi, Christian Dale Magsilao, John Ariel Piloneo, Joshua Corpuz, Jonard Delmas, Jason Gosodan, Lenard Tiongan, Ruben Pinkihan, Wonder Julian, Gilliam Solano, Jan Aica Gunaden, Melanie Palangyos, Sue Jean Mae Ayaman, Camelle Ann Bautista, Jaevee Almiza De La Cruz, Sharine Anne Eddio, Neil Mogamog, JM Natividad, Mary Jane Apong, Mercy Baccong, Jessebelle Padilla, Ryan Anamong, Gabriel Mehr Estima, Aron Bill Lumaban, Harvey Antero, Yancy Bagsao, Jessie Subli, Judy Ann Bautista, Angeelyn Estrada.

This hit was due to the unwavering support of the School Principal, Mr. Wilbert H. Cuidno, the Department Heads and Subject Coordinato­rs of the school, and the ICT teachers namely: Mr. Roger L. Rivera, Ms. Melody S. Batnag and Ms. Imelda D. Espiritu.

According to the assessor, Mr. Carlito Calado, students may not be able to imagine living without a computer skill and computer knowledge coupled with certain other job skills increases one’s chances of getting a job especially to K-12 students. It is for the reason that concerned agencies must adequately provide computer resources in the public schools.
