dearing “Drive your Friend” campaign, and a new management team, headed by industry veteran Atty. Albert Arcilla, the future seems even brighter for the brand.

Boosting an already powerhouse lineup

The Aeolus Huge, Forthing Friday, and Nanobox have been warmly received by the local market these past several months.

Now, to further up the ante, Dongfeng is again rolling out five more new vehicles, headlined by its new “Drive your friend” campaign, starting with the Nammi. The vehicle is the brand’s compact electric vehicle that fits the needs of the daily driver. This one’s perfect for the classic urbanite who yearns for a vehicle that could carry the demands of his everyday living as it can squeeze out a maximum range of 430 km, capable of an efficient 30-minute fast-charging. This Nammi can be had for just P1,238,000.

On the other hand, the Aeolus Mage takes the mantle as the brand’s handsome active crossover SUV. This stud dons a sporty and dynamic character on the outside, while providing a comfortable and spacious interior cabin. Some of its creature comforts include the 13.2-inch Super HD Touchscreen Display and Gamepad multi-functional steering wheel. It packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 204 PS and 305 N-m of torque to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission. The Mage is tagged at P1,249,000.

The new Rich 7 pickup truck, meantime, features a 2.3-liter turbo diesel engine that delivers a maximum output of 166hp (122kW) and 420N-m. It’s a workshorse like no other as it is equipped with front and rear differential locks, an Off Road Protection Frame with Off Road Info Displays and 540-degree cameras.

What’s good is that this vehicle is a joint venture with Nissan, an already strong and established brand in the local scene. With its technology and heavy-duty package, this behemoth starts at P1,298,000.

Another vehicle in its new lineup is the suave Forthing U-Tour MPV. It’s even a proper Innova-fighter with its spacious yacht-like interiors, highlighted by luxury captain seats. Under its hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gas engine that churns out 197hp and 285 N-m of torque. It looks promising with its bang-for-the-buck package for just P1,358,000.

Lastly, one Herculean feat that Dongfeng has introduced in the local market is the MHero, a fully-electric military-inspired SUV that truly is revolutionary. Aside from its top-notch smart off-road prowess, intelligent cockpit design and 500-km range, its mighty engine–indeed–is off the charts, producing a colossal 1000HP. This rear-wheel vehicle is a demigod in the metal sheet as it can surely conquer any obstacle along its path. It’s priced from P6,980,000 and is rightfully for the genuine adventurer ready to take things to the extreme.

With these awe-inspiring new offerings, the carmaker is indeed taking the brand to further unprecedented heights.

“Dongfeng Motors, a brand that resonates with quality, innovation, and excellence, has quickly established itself as a formidable player in the competitive Philippine market,” said Lim.

“It has been at the forefront of promoting eco-friendly practices in the automotive sector, demonstrating our dedication to a greener and more sustainable future,” he continued.
